It is truly an honor and a privilege to be a member of the Arcadia Public Schools staff! These past few years, it has been demonstrated to me time and again, the pride that the people of the community have in the school, and the community as a whole. Arcadia is a remarkable place!
My undergraduate degree is from Peru State College (May 1989), my Master’s in Education was from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (December 1995), while my Specialist’s in Education degree is from the University of Nebraska-Kearney (December 2009). I taught K-12 health and physical education at Benedict Public Schools (6 years), and have been an administrator at Loup County Public Schools (1 year), Rock Port (MO) R-II Schools (3 years), Bertrand Community Schools (12 years), Maywood Public School (4 years) and Potter-Dix Public Schools (4 years). I have also coached, at some time or another, almost every sport offered at these different stops in my career. I have been married to my wife, Amy, for 25 years, and we have four children: Jacob, Connor, Reagan, and Michael.
Small towns and small schools have so much to offer the people that live there and the students that attend those schools. Arcadia is no different. I will continue to work tirelessly to help provide our teachers and staff the resources and professional development they need in order to provide the best education possible for the children of the District, while being mindful and prudent with taxpayer money. Arcadia has had many good days in the past, and will continue to have good days in the future!
